Lisa was born and raised in New Jersey. Influenced by the works of Edgar Payne, Clyde Aspevig & Scott Christensen, Lisa decided to pursue her passion and enrolled in a local Art Institute where she was mentored by a Master Painter.
Over the years she has honed her skills by studying with other nationally known artists.
Working primarily in oil, Lisa's paintings include landscapes, seascapes, still life's and portraits.
Lisa's works have been accepted into Regional Juried Art Shows and has been profiled by Art Food Home as an Emerging Artist.
Lisa participates in Plein Air Painting events and travels to heighten her painting skills. Recently, Lisa participated in a group art exhibit at the John W. Rea House and at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Lisa was recently featured in numerous publications and profiled on News 12 New Jersey.
In painting, Lisa strives to express her painterly approach through traditional oil painting techniques.
In 2013 & 2017 Lisa became a member of the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society and in 2024 Lisa joined the Pastel Society of New Jersey.
Lisa has been teaching oil painting since 2015 and acrylic painting in 2024. Lisa is also interested in teaching pastels.
